Weekly Newbies & FAQ Thread - Post your questions here for PAL/RPAL application, timelines, CFSC/CFSRC, references & requirements, or general new to firearms ownership -type questions

This thread will be used for the "new"-type questions, PAL/RPAL applications, references, CFSC/CFRSC requirements, storage/transport, or other general "new-to-me" firearms ownership questions.

In response to this thread, the community was quite positive for a thread to cover these subjects.

If you happen to lose ur ATT paper slip could u get a new one ?

I assume you have to get one from the RCMP. Good luck.

FYI, you should keep the original in your safe. I only carry photo copies when I'm transporting. In fact, I've got multiples, one in my gun case. One in my range bag, on in my PAL wallet. Just to make sure there's zero chance I forget it somehow. I also keep copies of my PAL in my gun case and range bag. Again... just to be sure.

Fill out the form and cough up whatever fee they ask for the replacement document
