So what is the deal with the may 18th soft registry? Does the gubermint know that I have specific guns for anything purchased afterwards or do they only know that I have bought guns themself.

Just wondering if this can somehow lead into taking away guns bought after the 18th or if that isn't a concern yet.

anything bought from a store is recorded for 20 years, and the police can access that information without a warrant

Buying used they do not know about but merely a transaction took place?

Also even with police knowing that information, they can not do any searches or anything with said information unless they have a criminal warrant though, no?

any firearm bought from a store, used or not, is recorded. if the police are looking into your ownership of a firearm in the first place, they will continue with that information.
