Not really much to discuss but the other week I was shocked to find out more people drown every year in Canada than die in firearms incidents. Just thought it was a neat little fact.

I believe it. I have only encountered a Moose 1 time in my life so far (some how) and he just darted out into the road infront of me. If I was going any faster or left a little earlier I most likely would have taken him out at the knee’s and been gone myself.

The girl I knew was sitting in the back seat of a car when it hit the moose and went right through the windshield and landed in the back seat--horrible!

My condolences. I have heard about that happening a lot and being the driver in a car when a moose decides to cross the road I can totally see how it happens.

Flying through the US?

You are limited to containers of 3.4oz or less that fit in your quart-sized bag. For checked bags you are limited to five liters per passenger.

Right! With lakes being deadlier than firearms I have a perfect reason to not try and face my fear of water.

Let's subsidise a lifeguard for every single body of water in Canada, make it illegal to drown, and create a water possession and acquisition licence so people don't take water and make prohibited lakes. The big lakes should be non-restricted and all small bodies of water should be restricted because they are easy to conceal. We should also limit the number of swimmers at any pool or swimming area to 5 adults and 10 children, just because adults are big and scary.
