Arguments for women's self-defense (and other weaker groups) is good, because it aligns with promoting equality (of ability to defend oneself). I think another good argument is law enforcement, as in anyone who enforces the law(aka most gun owners) is law enforcement. They may not be an officer, but if they have the strength and the will to protect others then they are law enforcement and thus disarming them is ludicrous.
