the problem in canada is not the argument for why we own them. Plenty of people in the USA want to ban guns(and have banned guns) despite having a myriad of self defence aeguments. What protects US gun owners is a constitutional right to own firearms, enshrined in a document nigh impossible to revoke. We can say we want yo own guns for whatever reason we want, reality is anti-gunners really don’t care and see no reason as valid.
