No they don't, the magazines get modified. Besides, Ruger makes 5 round magazines for the 10/22 anyway.

How exactly do you modify the magazine on a model 94?

By crimping/peening the tube and cutting the spring.

Interesting. What about with a Henry that isn't side gate loading ?
