Yeah, but that's how polls work. I wouldn't go there.
This part is a good point.
It's also good to note that Canada is becoming more pro gun as time goes on. I wish I could source you off the top of my head, but in the 1980's, support for a handgun ban was hovering in the 85% range - now it's in the 65% range.
Also note that when these polls are taken, the 55+ population invariably responds more anti-gun. The younger generations don't fear guns the same way the old ones do.
