The problem is that 75% of Canadian homes don't have guns in them, and even out of the 25% that do, only a handfull have ARs and handguns. Only a small percentage of gun owners - already a small percentage of the population - are actually directly affected. Most of the millions of gun-owning Canadians just own a rifle and/or shotgun or two, and nothing will change for them.
I support the idea of a protest, but there's practically no way we can make it massive. Maybe when they come for the pump and lever guns.
