Funny enough, in 2011 he very well appeared that way. Talking about how Canada has a culture around guns, he respects the need “to go out and shoot stuff”, etc. Apparently he even had firearms growing up but they were stolen from his cottage…

Yes! I remember a fuzzy 480p video of him saying that in the early 2010s and I've been hunting for it since.

The issue is they won't replace the term. They'll act as if it's interchangeable, try to make people feel bad "Why do you have to hunt? The Walmart is right there!" And act as if they've been saying it that way all along.
