Weekly Newbies & FAQ Thread - Post your questions here for PAL/RPAL application, timelines, CFSC/CFSRC, references & requirements, or general new to firearms ownership -type questions

This thread will be used for the "new"-type questions, PAL/RPAL applications, references, CFSC/CFRSC requirements, storage/transport, or other general "new-to-me" firearms ownership questions.

In response to this thread, the community was quite positive for a thread to cover these subjects.

Ontario, Monday will be 11 weeks since I submitted my RPAL. Watching my CC for the charge with white knuckles.

If I could send myself 3 years ago a message, it would have been 'follow everybody's advice, get both licenses at the same time and buy everything'.

3 weeks since they received my application. If only I listened to my buddy who got me into target shooting 2 years ago and did my courses that year…

I have a feeling my license will be approved the same day the freeze goes into effect this fall.
