Yesterday I bought my first handgun online and i just have a few questions about the process of actually getting the gun home . Btw I’m in Ontario 1. How long will it take until i can go pick it up from the store 2. Is there anything else i have to do or is it just a matter of waiting 3. To bring the gun home from the store will i need a ATT or will the store handle that

If you're picking up in person you may need one, but someone else will probably chime in here to clear that up

Just check your Conditions Slip. It should likely already include the condition:

  • Transport of a newly acquired restricted firearms and/or prohibited firearms from the place of acquisition to the license holder's dwelling house or other place authorized by the chief firearms officer.

As this was one of the two automatic ATT conditions that survived C-71.

Just bring your Transfer Notification Slip that says you can now legally take possession of the firearm, since you won't otherwise have the Registration Certificate mailed to you by this point in time.
