Glock makes many different models; some car fairly similar to each other, while some are quite different. Different specs may have different purposes, or people might have deliberate uses for each. An example would be something like a glock 19 that has a small frame and a short slide and barrel setup that’s maybe used for range days/plinking/tactical courses, and maybe they have something like a glock 34 that has a larger frame and longer slide/barrel for competition shooting. There are a lot of people who like to have sets of things too that will buy one of each to have a collection of them
