Hey guys. I’ve owned firearms for several years now. But this is the first time I’m looking to buy a handgun without and range membership. What’s the deal with it? Will the RCMP give me a hard time or do I just say I’m buying it for collection purposes. And will I need to get an ATT to take it from the store to my house or is that still on my license ?

So many changes in the last year

AFAIK Ontario doesn't require a range membership. You've got ranges within your province that will allow anyone to pop in and use without a membership, so its reasonable that target shooters could just make use of this option.
