This thread will be used for the "new"-type questions, PAL/RPAL applications, references, CFSC/CFRSC requirements, storage/transport, or other general "new-to-me" firearms ownership questions.

In response to this thread, the community was quite positive for a thread to cover these subjects.

Called again today, to see if there is any progress on my PAL. Still in que for photo scan..... 2months?!?!? She told me photo was great, high quality, and said nothing looks wrong. At least the lady was nice enough to tell me that she will contact the photo scanning agents. Any similar stories as mine?

Received Jan 10th Cc charge march 2nd

Yup. Submitted in Jan and got it in the mail yesterday. 5 month wait. I guarantee you she forgot about you as soon as you hung up. You’re in for the long haul they don’t give two shits.

Their photo scanner guy must have taken a dump so big he had to go on maternity leave, only reason plausible enough to explain this amount of delay.
