So in light of the Liberal "renewed" gun law promises, I'm very out of the loop on gun lobby groups that would be able to fight any legislation being tabled.

Are there any lobby groups the community here can suggest that is active and have been making progress (stopping légalisation in going through)/stirring the pot in the house of commons and senate?

And perhaps not just lobby groups, any petition currently on going that is looking for signatures, etc...?

I feel embarrassed I'm not more up to date on this or more knowledgeable, but seeking and researching more on this now...

Would appreciate your thoughts and suggestions!

Don't get your hopes up about any legislation being stopped. It will have 100% support from the LPC and Bloc and that's enough. I wouldn't be surprised if the Senate took their time and maybe changed a couple things, but thats it.

There is only one miracle scenario, and that's parliament issuing a vote of no confidence before the bill passes.

I bet the result would be 185/151.
