The card provides photo identification, I think something like this could be useful for maybe buying ammo or something and you notice you forgot your pal for whatever reason at home.

Well also when this new bill pass likely all gun parts and mags as well. Interestingly, I just had imported some grips for my pistol and the CBSA wanted to see my PAL when I went to self-clear the package because UPS wanted to rob me for $50.

They wanted to see your license for grips? Goddamn, are those guys just out of the loop, or intentional dicks?

Kind of a tangent, but I thought I heard that they've started letting assisted opening knives back through?

I didn't bother putting up a fight since I was just happy not to pay $40 more to UPS for "brokerage charges". I probably could've walked out of there without showing it (or just paying UPS directly).

Also yes, some stores locally are selling assisted opening knives now, but they say that they can't get as much inventory.
