Love to have my Enfield from fucking 1917 be retroactively be classified a deadly assault weapon of war or some shit.

How would they even enforce this though there’s literally 100,000s of Lee Enfield in canada lol are they going to make us throw out our original magazines? And buy altered ones?

Remember, government can play the long game. Even if they pass something unenforceable, it doesn't have to be enforced on everyone. They can wait 2, 5, 10, 15, 20, years.

Just the same as how they're happy to arrest you in 2022 if they finally catch you with a gun they prohibited decades ago.

Simple, they’re not going to do shit but if you’re seen with one by police or wildlife officers/reported for having one/have your shit searched for whatever reason by cops, you’re going to prison.
