I have a bad feeling about next week. 2 high profile mass shootings in the USA. Trudeau saying yesterday that further gun control measures to be announced shortly, today's suspect with a rifle shot in proxomity to Toronto schools..

This is going to get messy.

Our laws just aren't working, there's still mass shootings in another country! Quick, make more laws here to stop crime in other countries!

The day that JT is voted out is going to be a national day of celebration.

Is he going to get voted out though? Genuine question, because despite the stupid expensive cost of living (along side these equally stupid gun laws) people are still cheering him on. Not to mention the smear campaign on PP or anything centre right.

Talking to a fellow who works for a Liberal MP about Trudeau and his impression of general sentiment in the party was that Trudeau had hit his expiration date. Maybe they'll swap him out for another leader for the next election.

Any other insider reasons or explanations as to why the Libs think he's gone past his expiry date? For us gun owners there's enough evidence, but maybe there's some talk on the inside that we wouldn't otherwise hear.

We were just discussing public perceptions, primarily him fucking up the most recent election.

More likely he is ousted from within before the general election.

He is a walking PR nightmare.

More likely he is ousted

or he'll quit as he's becoming a liability and he doesn't like criticism. Doesn't matter one bit, though. Freeland will carry on the LPC manifesto of ridding Canada of all private ownership of guns.

Keep going I'm almost there.

Bröther I'm reaching for any and all whitepills that I can.

How else is he a PR nightmare? I see everyone from people in BC to Ontario heckling his appearances at talks and rallies, yet he has a coalition until 2025. It's doom and gloom

How else is he a PR nightmare?

I dunno, first PM with multiple ethics violations?

Oh yeah Im aware. But he also managed to survive that because of legacy media and majority of his voter base not giving a shit

Any guesses? I believe they have a list of proposals/Legislative actions just sitting on someone's desk that are ready and just waiting for the next tragedy to occur prior to being announced.

Im guessing they are going to go after handguns hard this time given all the chatter from Montreal.

I dont see them outright banning semi auto long guns because so many of them being NR, the registered ones on the other hand are likely on the chopping block.

Yeah I see either a complete handgun ban, citing “if the provinces weren’t willing to do it, I will” Heil Justin ! OR a combination of black rifle semi-auto’s restricted/non restricted as well as handguns. I’m sure he will oblige whatever those Poly idiots will ask for

Looks like another trip to Home Hardware is in order.

Number one rule of politics: Never let a good tragedy go to waste.
