So if people are wondering whats going on with their applications.
I was informed that the processing site in Miramichi is working on applications at the moment from the end of February and beginning of March. If your application is missing something or something is unclear they would normally call or send a notice, but they have been told not to do that. Because of their back log they are trying to just get the applications in the system, because as of June 1st if an application has been sitting there for over 35 days you are entitled to a refund. A new law that was passed. And apparently they are putting the applications that are missing something to another que and it will be sitting there for months until they clear the backlog and waiting for them to send out a notice or to call. Its not good service at all. And its coming from their superiors in Ottawa. People need to start contacting their MP's and complaining about the process that they are doing.
Just a heads up on whats happening there.
