Weekly Newbies Thread - Post your questions here for PAL/RPAL application, timelines, CFSC/CFSRC, references & requirements, or general new to firearms ownership -type questions

This thread will be used for the "new"-type questions, PAL/RPAL applications, references, CFSC/CFRSC requirements, storage/transport, or other general "new-to-me" firearms ownership questions.

In response to this thread, the community was quite positive for a thread to cover these subjects.

There’s left handed bullpups available if you prefer. The Tavor 7 and X95 can be switched to left handed (need a left handed bolt for the X95), and the Keltec RDB is ambidextrous (ejects downwards).

The Tavor 7 can be converted without any extra parts (but its in .308/7.62x51 not .223/5.56). The X95 needs a left handed bolt kit (~$300), but sometimes you can find converted ones for sale second hand. There's a new RDB shipment coming this year, was supposed to be this summer but heard it got pushed back to the fall.

Fair enough! Sounds like you've done your research, I just wanted to make you aware of the options if you didn't know :)
