I did, mine was for generalized social anxiety from from a few years. Just came off my meds and am doing well, but he wanted a doctors note. (I also never had any suicidal or thoughts of harm to anyone else ever)

My license hasn't been approved yet, but when I've called everything seems to be ok, they are just taking their sweet fucking time. I'm 8 months in now...

I also don't have a family doctor and haven't seen a therapist in over a year. I did however see the same clinic doctor a few times to get my prescriptions, and that was good enough. If you can't do that, call the CFO and ask what to do. Your therapist is extremely unethical, and I would have some legal questions about it. What the CFO can do is have you consent to share your medical history, which may be enough to clear you as there shouldn't be an reports of self harm.

Bottom line, call the CFP and ask what you should do, and tell them that your therapist would refuse to sign a doctors not because she is "very anti-gun".

I will be calling every two weeks until middle of June, then every week after that if it's still not done.

Last time I called he said there was just a final background check, even though there is nothing on my medical or criminal record, and CFO rubber stamp.
