Quick question about phoning in to check on my application. I mailed it in mid-February but my credit card that I used on it is expiring in June, and TD sent me a new one already but I haven't activated it yet. I want to use that as an excuse to call in and check the status of my application and see if I can hurry them along by saying my CC is due to possibly expire before they charge it.

Who do I actually call? Is it the Canadian Firearms Program from the from of the PAL booklet?

Ya call the CFP. It's been well past the wait time so just call and tell them you need to update the CC on your application. It may actually go through faster because of that, but it's not guaranteed.

The only negative of calling in a new credit card # is if they haven’t started processing his application there will be nothing in the system for them to attach the new card number to.

If his old credit card hasn’t been charged there is a good chance his application isn’t in the system yet (unless the credit card didn’t go through because of insufficient funds or used a debit visa instead of a credit card)
