with my incoming rpal hopefully only a few weeks away I've started to get excited and buy whatever I can that doesn't require my PAL (sights, eyes & ears, snapcaps etc) and just noticed that my astigmatism makes seeing my red dot clearly with my contacts on almost impossible. I read online that holo sights seem to be better for this; I was wondering if anyone with the same problem has any suggestions?

Buying my first red dot is how I found out that I suffered from the same stigmatism. the "dots" look like a snowflake or firework to me.

I was told the only ways to eliminate/minimize this is to use a magnified red dot, use a red dot in combination with a magnifier, or wear glasses with a regular red dot.

Going to try and get a new pair of glasses in my updated prescriptions; it's been years since I've had a new pair and am interested to see if this helps!
