Curious what they were doing wrong. I go shooting at Tower Road occasionally by Mactier, the same spot where you’ve seen videos posted here of a group of Indian guys shooting in the air, and shooting at a wooden bridge. It’s a very well known spot, and plenty of safe areas to shoot - and the only signs posted are “No unsafe discharging of firearms.” Wondering when that spot will get shut down.

This article has a bit more information:

https://muskokatoday.com/2026/10/five-young-gta-men-charged-in-relation-to-ongoing-public-recreational-shooting-concerns-on-public-lands-in-georgian-bay-township/

From the article: The charges were related specifically to where they were shooting in relation to the hydro cut.

Maybe they were shooting in an area where the hydro company had a utility corridor, on maps I can see a transfer station at the end of the road, any signage that says something about it being restricted access?

I've been shooting there plenty times aswell there's a lot of ATV roads so I think they might have been too close to a road
