There's so little information in this article...

I mean, not much more on the release from OPP Bracebridge.

The interesting part is the decision not to name the parties.

Just once, id like to see names, makes and models and a bit of actual clarification.

The vague posting the media does is infuriating sometimes

The fact that they generalized the area they were from as the "GTA" and didn't even give a city/region tells you all you need to know.

OP clarifies this was the information provided by the OPP and you still say "media". Have we lost reading and comprehension nowadays?

My reading comprehension is fine, you might be struggling though.

I'm commenting about the difference of what OP posted afterwards from the OPP vs what was in the news article.

And the rest of comment still stands, we don't have names, we don't have makes or models.

What extremely important information was missing from the CP24 article vs the OPP release?

The media isn't naming names or makes / models, is it people illegally shooting their prohibs? Is it just some guys with SKSs? Who did it?

I don't get why your coming at me full speed with how sparse the OPP release and the news post is.

It's pretty vague.

I'm just saying the news article is space because the OPP release is sparse. But everyone wants to constantly say the media has a bias. They shouldn't be making up stuff, should they?

Oh is that what you're saying now? Or was it an issue with my reading comprehension and what I clearly wrote in my earlier comment?

But everyone wants to constantly say the media has a bias.

One, did I write anything at all about that in this comment chain? Did I make any inferences at all? No I didn't. I asked for info regarding a vague news article and a vague opp release. It's almost like if there was more information at hand people in here wouldn't be grasping at straws.

Two, all media has bias, there's very little objective reporting in the current year. As a person on the Internet it's up to you and anyone engaging in the content to parse that.

They shouldn't be making up stuff, should they?

No shit Sherlock, but releasing half baked vague posting article is just as bad because people will jump the gun on stuff.

Again, my original comment STILL stands. I wish we had more information. That's all it is, not sure why that's so controversial.

You can write all the long paragraphs you want, but that sentence AFTER you were told the OPP put out that info says everything. Either way have a nice evening and a happy thanksgiving.
