Feets / Collection / My build CZ 600 Trail 7.62x39
I haven’t had it for long. Put about a hundred cheap rounds through and taken on two hunting trips
I love the compact, handy size of it. The pistol grip it comes with feels good. No complaints about the action. Trigger is nice and really light. Paired with the Aimpoint I find getting on target is quick. Accuracy was surprisingly good off the bench but I’ve never shot it past 100 yards and majority was at 60 yards.
I really like this gun but it’s far from perfect. The narrow handguard doesn’t have enough clearance to add a Magpul MLok QD sling mount, it’s not even close to enough clearance to tighten the screws without touching the barrel. I find the mag really needs to be slammed in for it to catch and it really doesn’t like it be inserted on a closed bolt.
It’s not a precision rifle and I don’t know if I’d recommend it if you’re just looking for a range toy (at least until u/Cryptidworks gets their standard capacity mags to market) but if you’re wanting a handy little carbine for deer or something easy to carry for backcountry trips it’s great. Awesome grab gun, go innawoods type carbine

I run my QD mount on the slot directly in front of the magazine (which is M-Lok compatible, though slightly out of spec) when I have my sling in a two-point configuration. It works :)
Most of the time I run it single-point with the sling in the butt pad, because you can carry it at your side if you're heckin' tall like me, like a little PDW. Pressing the release makes it extend with gravity and you can shoulder it very quickly. If you run an LBE (I run a modern SMERSH style rig from Ukraine called a Sputnyk-Gear Selous-RAID) the whole thing props very nicely over a mag pouch to distribute weight.
The trigger is amazing, yeah. I have mine set to the lowest setting. Makes shooting it mad minute style real fun ;)
As for the mags, I hope to bring those out one day, but releasing them commercially is a mountain I was not sufficiently equipped to climb.
I've gotten so many conflicting answers from the powers that be on my inquiries into rules in that regard that it will be safest for me to hold off, release the other CZ600 Trail stuff I designed which is much less bureaucratically tricky/design more (I'd like to make a Magwell insert compatible with MRX bison and STANAG mags, for example), and shift it to a long term plan when I have the time or resources to get properly set up for it, or partner with an existing company that is.
I know it's not the news anyone wanted to hear, and I apologize for letting you guys down for now. Again, I still hope to bring them out eventually, but I'm not sure when that'll be.
