Your light is probably only for the cool factor and not for real scenarios but mounting a light on the bottom, especially that far back, will cast a shadow directly in your line of sight. Side/top mount and as far foward as possible is generally recommanded.

Ohh for sure, there’s a mount location up front I may use. This is the beam from current location
