Your light is probably only for the cool factor and not for real scenarios but mounting a light on the bottom, especially that far back, will cast a shadow directly in your line of sight. Side/top mount and as far foward as possible is generally recommanded.

It’s an Amazon purchase thought why not for the price and perfect where the picatinny location
