Has anyone done any identical-ammo accuracy testing with the Makasi and this side by side? Just curious, this is more than acceptable out of an R barrel regardless. Sucks the gun market is what it is right now, but frankly if I had to choose between a decades old state-backed arms manufacturer and a few guys with a CNC in a shop, I'm picking the former.

Such into exists on CGN.
I’m copy and pasting so format may be horrible.
He shot it at 100 yards with razor G3 1-10. Bipod in front, bag in rear:

So this is all Makasi accuracy data? Unfortunately it looks like literally none of the ammo they used is the same as the stuff you used though

Yea, my stockpile is older and from before ARs are banned. Idk if you can even find the Swiss P or Geco 556 anymore.
The only one I have from that list is the Norinco m193, but i havent opened tuna can yet

I've still got a few boxes of that nice RUAG AP tucked away... And I'll probably end up passing my Norinco 193 tuna cans down to my kids kids 🤣

Thanks for posting OP
I would suspect people will achieve a little better accuracy out of the 18.6 barrel as well
Really surprised with the results of the Geco 55g

Yea, maybe they’ll do the typical DMR thing and give it a heavy barrel.
Geco is great. Was pretty cheap when they were available and came on strippers. Shot decent groups in my H&Ks back in the day as well

How's she running in general? Any issues?

No issues at all across all the ammo i tried.
Only used pmags so far. Will try lancers next time but i dont expect issues
