Gun and gear reviews Makasi Mk15 questions

I've seen lots of posts from the NS booth at TACCOM with the the special order FDE Makasi and the regular black one. I heard the FDE one was coming with an exclusive 15 inch handguard, but clearly the black one on display has that too. Did anyone have the opportunity to view or ask any questions regarding it?

I'm wondering if with all the reported QC issues, are the handguards being swapped out with ones that don't have the issues and that's the delay to them hitting retailers?

Any insight would be appreciated.

Well shit, pre-ordered. Thoughts on a 1913 adapter to run a fixed AR buffer tube and Magpul stock on the back end?

mk15 comes with a 1913 rail, find a magpul zhukov & 1913 adapter?

I have the mentioned items, just waiting for mk15 to arrive.

I ordered a midwest industries 1913 to buffer adapter (it also folds)

I see the Midwest adapter comes in fixed or folding. That’s the route I’m going as well. I built out a .556 Renegade earlier this year. Time to move on to this rifle. Looking forward to the end of October.
