Buy recommendations Ruger SR-22 bad idea?

Went to go buy beef jerky, next door there’s a firearm store so I figured what the heck. Saw this Ruger SR-22 with 4 mags for 595 moose dollars on the used rack. Being a Ruger fan boy and having exactly 595 to spend on jerky, I bought it instead.

Figured Ruger could do me no harm. Heck I’d suck on old Bill Rugers toes if I could. But I opened up the Google and found quite a bit of bad reviews. Was the SR-22 really that bad? The weight I don’t mind.

they don’t make authentic out of the factory sr 22 anymore so honestly not the worst investments. They are a lot heavier than your standard birch or polymer stock ruger 10/22 though. It’s not a huge deal but some people may see it as clunkier to use
