Shitpost / Memes Convincing the boss
I know there’s a lot of guys on here who say “Buy once/cry once or who buy it and sneak it into the safe but let she realistic…
How do you convince the wife, between mortgage, bills, renovations, etc. etc. to not lose her absolute mind when you want to drop $1000+ on a new firearm?
I’m trying to have a happy marriage here folks. Give me your tips/strategies

I hate to say it but it kind of sounds like you're doing it right. Take care of you and yours financially first.
That being said, if it's an issue of having the money after bills but disagreements with the spouse on allocation, you've got three options in my experience:
1) Take them to the range a couple of times and use it as an excuse for some quality time together. It'll give you some one on one time outside of the house, give you a chance to showcase a passion and may even strengthen your connection through shared hobbies.
2) Set up a "hobby envelope" within your budgeting and allocate a specific percentage of your paycheck to it. Have your partner do the same so that your investments are your own and you can spend them however you want. It's a lot tougher to complain about how someone spends money when they saved and allocated it specifically for their own personal enjoyment.
3) Get divorced. Hookers don't care how you spend your money.
