Misc Air Canada took away my bullet keychain...

Security guy said it looked like a replica bullet. It literally was a rifle slug with a hole drilled sideways through it and a key ring on it.

Woke crap. No wonder they're all scared. They don't know anything about bullets...

So what do you do when you fly? Take your bullet keychain with you then when it's confiscated you just walk out of the airport because you don't want to follow a stupid rule?

You must wake up every morning roiling with hatred you can no longer tell the teacher on other children running in the halls.

I think overall most of Canada Border Securities rules are utterly asinine and are part of a structure to ensure their union receives a larger and larger sum as their workforce increases while their actual usefulness decreases. We live in an autocratic society of increasing bureaucratic overreach and this is embarrassing to any and all of us that a single person on here is defending the slack jawed goons at our gates.

Additionally it is a national embarrassment that Air Canada still exists as it is barely a D List carrier by any European standard and a C- compared to most of the US.

Could you just answer the question please?

You obviously detest anyone that follows the rules that allow them to board an airplane, so I'd like to hear your alternative approach.

Unfortunately in an instance like this your only recourse is to file a formal complaint,

Due to the Liberals Sodderkommando like yourself we live in a world of asinine bureaucracy invading every inch of our lives.

And formal complaint to who exactly?

CATSA specifically prohibits bullet keychains. So what's the meat of your complaint?

Come on man work with us here, lead us to the better future.

And just FYI people who point out that a rule exists are not agreeing that such a rule should exist. Most folk learn this in kindergarten, but it's ok it took you a little longer.

Unfortunately having travelled has exposed me to different countries air travel and while I’m sure people appreciate your jingoism, Canada is utter shit to fly in or out of. You can really tell how little life experience others have by their blind endorsement of policy by automatically complying. Utilizing any and all tools at your disposal including a complaint process is sometimes the best that can de done.

At the end of the day the rule is utterly stupid, like most rules and the people it’s designed to stop will circumvent it as unlike yourself they don’t worship it on its alter merely for being a rule.

Really irked you in kindergarten that you had to take turns being the playground patroller and couldn’t wear the vest and carry the whistle everyday, as god forbid those other children ran at recess.

Can you point out where I expressed any jingoism? Can you point out where I endorsed these rules? Can you point where I worshiped this or any other rule?

Going off I’ve engaged in a formal complaint process against it, and several other ones no it definitely does not.

The minimal effort you can engage is you use the bureaucracy against itself, be the clog in the machine not the cog in it.

Similar to how your neighborhood watch Facebook has yet to have a day go by when you’ve threatened someone else’ child with the authorities for not wearing a helmet. Really helps you tuck into your double ikea bed secure at knowing you’ve followed all the rules in a day.
