Buy recommendations 22lr options

Good people,

I was hoping the internet could point me in the right direction.
I’m new to the hobby, I’d like something I can modify, maybe do some simple comps with.
Something that even if it’s flawed it’s something I can figure out myself to learn some more about the gun or just send it in for a claim and won’t be screwed.

I live in Vancouver so shops that might help me out in person would be amazing as well

Ngl Ik PCC are banned now but something 9mm would also be highly appreciated other then 22

10/22 is probably the best semi-auto to go with (for .22). Lots of parts out there for it to switch in and out.

I like my CZ 457 for a .22 bolty but much less customizable.
