Gun and gear reviews Horrible warranty, Burris/Stoeger

So I sent a 2-8x scope to Stoeger for warranty. I hear nothing back for 3 months then I finally get my scope in the mail. It's a 4-16x. They took 3 months to send me the completely wrong scope.

Now if I needed that scope for hunting season I'd be livid. But I wasn't planning on keeping any more Burris scopes. So on the bright side the scope they sent back is more expensive for a trade in.

That's why I buy Vortex...

Dropped my Viper 20-60 HD spotting scope. It took a pretty nasty hit on the way down the hill. Vortex sent me a brand new one, I shipped them the old one back.

Never got service like that from any other brand.

Definitely love their scopes/spotting scopes and their warranty is great. But not a fan of their reddots. You're paying more than a holosun and getting no features like shakeawake, auto brightness, or a 2moa dot.

Hunh? Even their cheapest ones have a 2MOA dot.

Not entirely true, they have 3moa dots like the venom and I've heard their crossfire reddots use the same illuminator, I used to own two crossfires and I remember measuring them out to 2.5-2.75moa even on the lowest visible brightness
