Rust

Hey all!

I recently purchased a Benelli M4. I’ve had it out twice now and put maybe 250 rounds of buckshot and slugs through it as well as some target loads. I oiled it before I put it together the first time. When taking it apart now to re apply some oil, I noticed this rust here. I was just wondering if this is a problem and something can be done about it or if this is something that just happens. I am rather new to the hobby so any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have a theory... all of the new firearms I have purchased with surface rust i bought in the winter or the spring. I think they are brought in from a sub zero truck and collect moisture in the warehouse causing the surface rust
