Rust

Hey all!

I recently purchased a Benelli M4. I’ve had it out twice now and put maybe 250 rounds of buckshot and slugs through it as well as some target loads. I oiled it before I put it together the first time. When taking it apart now to re apply some oil, I noticed this rust here. I was just wondering if this is a problem and something can be done about it or if this is something that just happens. I am rather new to the hobby so any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.

That gun is drier than week old popcorn. G96 is your friend, use it liberally.

This picture was before I took it apart to oil it lol. I was recommended G96 before so that’s what I used.
