Fix my gun Rust

Hey all!

I recently purchased a Benelli M4. I’ve had it out twice now and put maybe 250 rounds of buckshot and slugs through it as well as some target loads. I oiled it before I put it together the first time. When taking it apart now to re apply some oil, I noticed this rust here. I was just wondering if this is a problem and something can be done about it or if this is something that just happens. I am rather new to the hobby so any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.

Super common to see rust anywhere there’s been laser engraving. Hit it with oil and a brass brush and then just oil it regularly.

Its always the first place to show rust on anything not just guns.
