The site still mentions the october 2026 date despite the extension due to the supreme court challenge... Good ol government

The buyback portion has not been extended. Only the amnesty for possession.

The screenshot translates to "you need to eliminate or destroy the firearms before the end of October 2026". Which is untrue.

It is still true for the buyback portal.

I dont read French perfectly but understand the tone of the page.

Which is that for the buyback program and compensation you need to comply with the program deadlines which is October 31 2026.

Le g ally you don't have to, but to get the compensation money you need to comply with the program by their deadline not the SCC deadline
