With the mag or true bolt hold?

Looking at pictures posted by gun owners of canada on their facebook page there is a tab that sticks out on the magazine when the follower is at the top.

That indicates it is probably is true bolt hold as I guess that external tab activates the BHO on the firearm.

based on those pictures, I'm wondering what about these mags is so proprietary that they couldn't fit into a regular 10/22?

My first guess would be they made the magazine head wider to accommodate the BHO trip.

But there aren't any good angles of the magazines to see the front if they have a tuf22 style nub or other things.
