I'll take this opportunity to plug Grohmann Knives. Made in Pictou, NS and pretty affordable for an enthusiast knife brand. I just bought their #2 Trout & Bird knife for this hunting season. They've also just started making kitchen knives recently.

Yeah, I've got my fair share of Benchmades et al., but those were purchased years ago. Long before this whole tariff war.
