Feets / Collection / My build 1301...again

Saturday morning before I left to the range, I discovered that some junkie had liberated my 1301 from my truck. Weirdly enough they didnt take any of the ammo/gear I had on top of the case. Kept my cool during the whole process, made a report & gave em the serial number (obviously im never seeing it again). the cop that came by seemed to be a gun guy & was super chill, but at this point I was feeling absolutely gutted. After mourning my loss for a few hours, the wife gave me the green light to go out & replace it. Safe to say I am happy with the upgrade & im just glad to have a replacement. I got the black Gen 2 Mod 2, which was cheaper then my gen 1?? idk how that works but fuck it we ball.

Man that sucks, I'm sorry that happened to you. At least the cop you got was chill. When my house got broken into and the robber tried to steal my guns but only walked off with my .22 rifle because it was the only one small enough to fit in the bag he stole, I got the third degree from the responding officer hours later because all of my trigger locks had been popped off and were on the floor. Thankfully no charges but the reprimanding was unnecessary. Also you've definitely learned this lesson but never leave anything valuable in your vehicle no matter how convenient it may be.

I appreciate it man. Sorry to hear about the B&E on your property, thats brutal. Yeah I did some reflecting afterwards, in hindsight it was a dumb move to leave it in my truck in the first place.

Thanks, it was years ago and my insurance covered everything so it wasnt as bad as it could've been but it definitely taught me some lessons. I had to learn the lesson about my truck the hard way as well, thankfully it didn't involve firearms. Upside is its the kind of mistake you only make once.

Thats good it was covered. Yeah no doubt man. This also makes me wanna wire in a kill switch on my truck, because the amount of vehicle theft in BC is wild right now.

If you dont have GPS on your truck its definitely a worthy investment as it makes it easier to find. To be fair though, depending on where in BC you live auto theft has always been a big problem.
