Shitpost / Memes Is this an Anti tank round?

Went to the range with my buddy to try out my fully cleaned SKS and was having a blast with it 10/10.

He wanted to get his rifle ready to get a bear starting sept 1st. So he invites me to take the first shot from his savage 110 in 300wsm. Tells me its a bit strong like the 308win Tikka i have. So i be prepared to shoot it.

HOLY FUCK B'Y !!

Like what on God's green earth is this tf!? Buddy died laughing and i was astonished by the power this cartridge has.

Guys who shoot this, dont knock on my door please. 😭

Brought it with me as a keepsake and as a goal to master it one day.

I have a Winchester model 70 extreme weather with a fluted barrel in 300wsm and I find the recoil to be more of a shove than a sharp punch like a 300 wm. Slower powder burn rate is my guess. I mean I do have a 458 win mag too so maybe I just love recoil.(Haven't shot it in 4 years because at 200+ for a box of 20 I can't afford to, have the rigging to reload and a pile of 520gr cast lead just never got around to it) Edit:spelling

Does your M70 have a laminate stock?

Those are heavier and soak up recoil better too.

I believe it's bell and Carlson fibre glass. So yeah maybe it is a tad heavier pretty sure it's still under 9 lbs (8. Something) EDIT: looked it up on Winchester and it's 7.0lbs. + rings and a leupold vxr 3-9

Oh yeah that'll definitely help; the shape of the stock also determines how much cheek slap you get with your physiology.

I was surprised how much of a difference in felt recoil my Tikka T3X .308 had in its original laminate stock vs a standard synthetic factory stock.

Not huge, but noticeable.

Haha I have the ultimate shadow m70 in 300 wsm put 200 rounds through it last winter. I'm not scared of it but my friend has a life long flinch from that rifle.
