Buy recommendations Cabella's WTF

I ordered a Garmin Xero C1 since they are were on sale for $140 off. The order was placed on Aug 14. Still hasn't shipped. Here is what I get from them today.

They want $120 to ship the thing saying its a Hazmat item. LMAO

I will be ordering directly from Garmin, with FREE shipping.

I went there for my first shotgun. I asked what the choke type is for my shotgun. That sales person told me a wrong one. So I went back and ask if they have the one I want, that guy didn’t check and just said no. Then I actually found it there. Just trash 🚮

Used to run the gun counter at a Cabela’s. End of the day, you pay minimum wage, you get minimum wage workers.

I've also found that most of the people at the gun counters aren't firearms enthusiasts either. they know just enough to answer some standard questions, but not much else.

not that I really blame them tbh, work is work and most probably didnt or wouldnt choose to be stationed in that specific department, it just sucks sometimes in those situations where you're looking for something specific

This makes no sense. Minimum wage doesn't mean you have the right to just not to your job. Looking up inventory in their system is the bare minimum for their job. If they are frustrated with their station in life, this is canada, there's opportunity to find other work. Stop advocating for shit work ethic just because they receive minimum wage.
