Seriously though. A waste management company that operates dumpsters and waste sorting is not going to be institutionally equipped to handle lots of firearms. I predict that many of the more interesting firearms will go missing.

Any security the company is used to doing is probably aimed at deterring scrap thieves. Internal losses probably aren't really defended against.

It will end just like this, This happened at our local landfill a few weeks ago when the contractor decided it was just scrap waste.

It says bid starts with one with option to buy three. That doesn't sound like enough portable shredders to do anything on site. Also mentions a conveyor belt system, which probably isn't super portable.

I don't think this is actually the case. I know this has been mismanaged a lot but, I really cannot imagine they are actually going to take a private company whose main employment roles are geared towards entry level low paying jobs that would typically draw folks with potentially questionable personal history or lack of fully formed brains (young adults). Also, have you ever watched any mob or organized crime movies? In the movies at least these organizations are almost always tied up with some sort of waste management company washing money and getting rid of stuff. Can we ask to see the plan? Is that within our rights as tax payers? I bet it doesn't exist yet or at best exists on a napkin.

All due respect to Mario, I don't trust him as far as I can throw him, but this seems likely. GotJunk would likely be the absolute cheapest solution for the feds.

He doesn't deserve any. There was a mobile drop off in Vaughan the other day and there was no on site shredder.
