Buy recommendations First time gun buyer

Any recommendations for a first gun I have a budget of 1000 dollars and most likely wanting to get a rimfire I been looking at the rock armory tm22.

If you've shot guns before and are familiar with taking them apart I would for sure go for the TM22 or a 10/22.

I have a TM22 and while the gun is fun to shoot the ergonomics of the gun are lacking. It's not a comfortable gun to shoot.

If you're new to the gun scene I would buy a bolt action gun. They are simple, more accurate, easy to maintain and a great way to build your fundamentals.

If I had to choose for my first gun I would go for a bolt action that comes with a scope.
