Buy recommendations Help choosing riflescope
Hi guys!
I've started hunting like 2 years ago and now I've started to do some precision shooting. Nothing professional, just a hobby.
Recently I've scored a Nikon Monarch 7 IL, in 56mm and I have an opportunity to exchange it for a Burris SixX 40mm with a ballistic crosshair.
I know the Burris SixX is for a long time discontinued but the warranty is still there and some people told me the SixX was a real beast.
Same for the Nikon but the fact there is no more warranty bothers me a bit.
Any input to help me to decide?
It'll be used mostly for deer hunting in a tree stand (200-300yards ) and at shooting range for fun and challenge. /// Forgot to add the Nikon is 3x12 and the Burris is 2x12
Thank you all!

There's no budget, I already have the Nikon Monarch 7 but I have a opportunity to swap it with a Burris SixX. Since why I'm struggling to choose.

If you're located in Alberta, I would recommend Leupold.
The Leupold repair shop is in Okatokes and I've heard have a quick turn around time.
You can get a VX freedom with CDS turret for your specific gun/ammo choice, just dial to the exact distance and hold for wind.

You should check out Burris's "international" warranty, because that's what applies to us here in Canada.
Hint: only manufacturer defects, through the place you bought it.
