Fix my gun Girsan MC312 double feed?
Hey, I was wondering if anyone can provide some help with an issue I’m having with my Girsan MC312. See pics for reference but it seems to be double feeding rounds onto the lifter and causes a jam. Does anyone have any recommendations how to fix? Thanks.

Run some heavy loads and break it in. 100 or so

Girsan you say? Well there’s your problem right there!
Really though, could be rolled/worn metal on shell stop arms, issues with lifter, etc etc. Judging by the wear on the ejection port I assume you’ve had this a while and it worked fine at one point - probably just worn out now. Cheap guns = shorter lifespan.

Ran very reliably before. I bought it for competition purposes so it has some relief cuts for quad loading and etc. I think it might be springs on the shell stop arms just working on finding new components to try out. Though maybe some other folks might have ideas for this issue. Lifter looks good and functional all of the time. Just getting this weird double feed about every 10 ish rounds

Try contacting North Sylva or SFRC to see if it takes standard Benelli M4 parts, then contact Stoeger for said parts. Could need nothing more than a simple swap, maybe with a bit of filing and polishing.

The shotgun has had some relief cuts for competition shooting and that is a filing of the area where mag tube meets the receiver to load the shells easier and quicker. The gun also has a receiver relief cut to aid with quad loading. That in my opinion is not the cause of why I am getting double feeds onto the lifter

I think I was 2 ports over from you. I talked to you about minimum target distances.

I may be the only one who never had any problem with it even with 7/8oz 1300 fps target load. I may be blessed by the turkey god

Can you post a picture of the loading port? Some shotguns have a ring at the reciever end of the magazine tube that helps hold the shells in. Yours looks like there is a bunch of wear in that spot.
Also try cleaning the trigger group.
