Application / Regulation advice Sending firearms via Canada Post

Is there anything special I need to do to mail myself some firearms? Or just box them up and send them?

CP says a trigger lock, but 95% of retailers and private sellers don't ship with them. Don't tell Canada Post it's a firearm, some tellers freak out and try to say they won't ship, you need this, you need that, etc. Pack it well, and make sure the muzzle is protected adequately (I've had many shipped to me with the barrel poking out of the box).

Had a teller freak out when i tried to ship an airsoft glock to someone lol... had to open my own small business account... print my own label, retry a day later with out telling them what it was. Fairly silly.
