Misc Why is the Derya TM22 so famous?

I recently purchased a TM22 Pro, and was wondering what makes it so popular? I’ve seen it in the subreddit multiple times, what’s your favourite part about the firearm?

Cheap, 25 round magazine, reasonably accurate, tacticool.

Except not compatible with any Ruger 10/22 derivatives including other Turkish brands. That's a no go just for that reason. The ProMag Remington Model 597 .22 LR 22-Round Magazine is cross compatible with several different Turkish rifles including the Ruger 10/22 and same goes for all the original Ruger magazines like BX-25 series. You can also get the rotary 30 round version if you wanted to or higher.

I literally can't find a Remington 597 online anywhere right now. Is this prohibited or just really rare for some reason?

Just search google there's quite a few different online retailers that have them in stock including the major ones. Both the adaptor and magazines. The magazines are easy to find usually promag.
